  • Working together with our elected leaders, we can find innovative ways to increase the City of Long Beach’s housing stock and provide enough units for residents living here today and for the years to come.
  • Identify incentives for homebuilders to build more units for affordable housing for low-income tenants.
  • Create a density bonus program that would allow developers to build more units than is currently allowed under zoning laws.
  • Educate tenant about rental assistance programs. These federally funded rental subsidy programs can help with rental security deposits and/or utility deposits.
